Ioanna Georgia Eskiadi is a Ph.D. Candidate at the Department of Journalism and Media Communication at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, where she is, also, a Research Assistant, occupied in different research programs and project management. She is a Research Fellow of Portulans Institute. She is experienced in training students in journalism and media communication. She holds a Master of Arts in Risk Communication and Crisis Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, Media, and Communication cum laude with praise of excellence from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. She has been awarded scholarships for her studies and has been part of fellowships for various organizations. She holds strong research, communication, and media management skills gained through her work in NGOs, public and private sectors, and international organizations. She is fluent in Greek, English, German, Italian, Spanish, and Arabic.
