Elena Spiropoulou

Elena is a lawyer with more than 15 years of expertise on the field of Personal Data Protection, Intellectual Property and IT Law. Clients of Spiropoulou Law Firm are international and national companies from the health industry, art world, e-shops, insurances, tourism, digital content and analytics e.t.c. She has vast experience in consulting and litigation on matters of compliance, and has handled complex issues such as notifications to Data Protection Authorities of several EE countries, privacy policies, obtaining data subjects’ consent, infringements of personal data e.t.c.

Elena has also participated to several conferences of the greek government all over Greece for the awareness of the general population on the safe use of the internet and she was a member in the law making committees in the drafting of the Consumer Code for Distance Sales and the amendment of law 2251/1994 on consumer protection.

Elena is an accredited Mediatior and accredited Data Protection Officer.
